A Mind in the Water:
Burnett in "A Mind in the Water" argues that cute, cuddly, godly, intelligent 21st century dolphin is actually not any of these things at all. Burnett uses personal experiences & Lilly, a controversial, crazy neurophysiologist, to map out how dolphins have been falsely represented by commercializing them in movies, and using them in the military as heroes when they are actually dumb creatures that can't escape a fish net, killing machines, and sex addicts. The author wrote this article in a sarcastic way to really inform what this animal is capable of behind the permanent smile that so many people find cute and cuddly & it may be due to human interaction.
