Funny how I have many more stressful things to do, but choosing a skype profile pic is already stressin me out :

+ Two gendered butterfly? awesome but don’t want them to think I’m trans or a freak (probably both for your average person)

+ A kiwi? Too helpless

+ Fantail? Perfect, but it’s already my google pic.

+ A frog? Sure, but the guy litteraly worked on frogs, that would look like I did it on purpose. (it’s crazy I’ve read his article for a class projecct last year)

i really love my job -- love it.

i think it's heightened my spidey-senses as far as kids go. i can sense danger, illness, etc from a mile away.

but.

i (perhaps falsely) feel like the amount of time and the intensity with which i interact with kids all day entitles me to not really have to deal with them on my off time. kids in movie theaters, kids in parks, kids in stranger's cars...not my problems.

is that awful? it makes me feel mean.
