OFF Day 5 - Music
(A/N): I was really excited when I saw this particular prompt on the @originalficfest list. Attaching characters and scenes to music is something that has helped me conceptualize my writing for a couple of years now, and it’s really fun. I’ve got YouTube playlists for both NO LOYAL KNIGHT and THE COLOR OF MAGPIES, and I try to add to it whenever I find a new song. Fun fact: I find Broadway soundtracks often fit better than other songs, because they seem to carry a stronger sense of story. Their specificity translates into a more universal application—which is actually a writing technique.
