Not... as great as he is convinced! Wes is mildly delusional in relation to his situation, having not yet fully accepted his position -- for the better part of his time on the island, he's been in very deep denial. Of course, this has never bugged him, if he is even aware. It's definitely helped him keep a chipper attitude, but tends to put him at risk, as he doesn't fully accept the dangers of living in the wilderness, and doesn't always treat them with the seriousness he should (although this is usually only with himself -- if one of his friends proves to be in trouble, he takes it very seriously).Wes is also unwittingly struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder.However, other than that, he feels pretty alright! He gets a little paranoid sometimes, and can be quite a bit self-deprecating if the opportunity to be so for some reason presents itself. Still, he's happy.
