“You know, I don’t think we’re qualified to be checking how well trees are planted.” Sending a TA that specialized in STEM and a history professor of all people seemed a little cruel. Maybe like the start of a really boring joke, even. Thinking back, she probably took a single biology class in her whole academic career.
Checking the clipboard that held the tree planting standards for the #TeamTrees movement, she compares it against a newly planted tree nearby. She couldn’t complain too much. It was preferable to actually lugging around the saplings and planting them herself. Besides, it was useful, right? “Have you ever been to one of these events before?
