The Soliloquy： 「okay so this is one of my favorite little lost bands! I followed them c. 2009/2010 or so when they were a new band active in the alt emo scene. they put out an EP and a couple demos, and then they went on what I think was their first "real" tour, and completely vanished in the middle of it! Took their stuff down with no word, I don't know if they finished the tour or not or where any of them went afterwards. It's like they never existed. The only evidence that I've been able to find that they ever did exist is on last.fm, where it says that they have 2 listeners (one of which is me) and have been scrobbled (when someone sends the site the metadata to log that that they've played one of their songs) 26 times (24 of which are me). (I've actually listened to them more than that but I only started tracking my listening on last.fm last year.....) They were a wonderful band and i will forever wonder what happened to them, and it's such a shame, because they could have been great. I wish I had gone to see them. This song is the soft spoken word interlude on their EP, and is my favorite.

Cross Your Heart： 「i was actually going through my playlist that i put a lot of underrated artists on and didn't even realize this band was Obscure by any means, but this whole album slaps and tbh their entire discography is amazing and rlly Cathartic and this song in particular got me through some shit in high school, and still gives me a lot of catharsis in relation to like... past and current shit like idk man!! maybe it's life!! or maybe it's just the life i know!! or maybe it's just the life i chose!!」
