Infiltrating the Enemy: An Amonilicious Irohnthisplace story.
Iroh pulled down his Equalist mask and grabbed his dual dao swords, sliding each one into their holders on his back as he walked out of his room and down the hall.
For two weeks now he had been inside the Equalist's operation. Learning the ins and outs of the group as he pretended to be one of them. He learned how they felt, learned what they all thought of Benders and how they worshiped Amon like a God for being able to take bending away.
He wasn't worried about being found out either. He had once gone Seven weeks without using his bending while his Grandfather taught him how to use his Dual Dao Swords. Zuko had kept telling him how important it was for him to learn how to survive and fight without his bending, just in case. And boy was he right.
Iroh joined a group of men walking in the same direction as he, and he joined them for just a short while. Amon had quickly taken a liking to Iroh, due to his skill with the swords. It probably didn't hurt that Iroh had a strategic background, and military training, though the Leader didn't know all of that. All Amon knew was that he was Fire Nation, very skilled, and an "equalist".
He found the office that Amon usually started his day in, and walked inside, planning on waiting for the masked man, to give him the morning brief before he went out to greet his other soldiers and start on the plans for the day.
