WHERE’S MY PSL?

Fall is one of my favorite seasons (the only thing I don’t like about it is that I know Winter will be next!) But the lovely light, changing leaves, pumpkins and pumpkin spice lattes, layered looks, and tall boots all make my heart skip a beat. I even like that fact that it means back-to-school for me now.

CALL IT A UNIFORM?

No, it’s not a #throwbackthursday, it just another simple jeans + silk top combo. And I realize that my last post looks a lot like this one, but this is the real me. This is what I wear on many days, now that I spend hours in class or studying and then running errands and making dinner. It’s easy, breezy, and more chic than just a t-shirt.

EASY AS 1-2-3

Happy New Year, all! Today, I had a few meetings so I wanted to wear something casual but professional. I haven’t made any new purchases but I wanted a “fresh” look from my closet, so I dug around and came up with this. 

I wondered about the two un-matching animal prints, but I was happy with the choices in the end. Nothing new, just an outfit as easy as 1-2-3.

LABOR DAY WHITES

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend – and maybe even got the day off today! Labor Day is always a good time to bring up the white clothes debate. I guess my opinion is that they are fine in warmer climates and on hotter fall days, but once the weather turns cooler my wardrobe moves to a darker palette. How about you all? 

Here is a new item in my wardrobe: I bought this little basket/bag at a neighborhood rummage sale for a few dollars in the Spring, and I have found it to be a great little summer purse. (I gave myself a hall pass because I am pretty sure it is not made in America, but I feel like at least I saved it from the landfill.)
