Bechdel Cast: But there’s always gonna be the argument, “Well, women haven’t contributed as much to society so that’s why we don’t make movies about them!” Molina: Who says that?? Do people still say that? BC: Yeah... Men’s Rights Activists, and you know... Molina: Men’s. Rights. Activists? Is that such a thing? BC: Yeah, The MRAs. Molina: Men’s Rights-? BC: Yeah, they are people who hate women and- Molina: What kind of crap is that?? Is that a thing?? Seriously, I’m not being disingenuous. Is that a thing? Men’s Rights? BC: Yeah. Molina: Oh, do me a favour... BC: It’s like most prevalent on the most cowardliest corners of the internet, but leaks into the real world as well. I mean, we sometimes get spammed online by MRAs just absolutely dumping on us. The thing with MRAs is that they have a lot of free time. Molina: So, if I said something like, “most men are stupid”... BC: They would not be happy with you. Molina: Okay. Most men are stupid.
