Sinister Sapphics Comic Arc Adaptations
tldr; in my Earth-693 Sinister Sapphics AU: Harry Osborn is a modified clone of Norman (Emily was never real), Otto achieves most of Peter's transition goals during the superior arc and that Doesn't solve her own gender feelings, and we're working with a more fucked up version of the Hunted arc!

Norman Osborn/ Green Goblin: A canon I have in this world is that Norman Osborn had Harry via genetically modified cloning and ivf. Essentially Norman was attempting to have a son to be the man he felt like he wasn’t fully able to live up to, or never fully realized for himself. Norman’s wife Emily dying shortly after Harry was born was the cover story he used. Osborn started this process a few years before Otto and her teamed up to make the harness when Norman was ~28 yo. By the time Norman comes to the warehouse Harry is an adult himself.
So with Harry I think we do get the motivation Norman had for the night Gwen Stacy died arc. There’s also a lot of general bs going on with death and resurrection in a comic series as old as spider man so I’d love to play with that. This Gwen Stacy Arc ends with the infamous glider accident and Normans first faked death when Harry was a teen. Norman went into hiding in Europe as he recovered and in that time invited a post-transformation Doc Ock to join her an ultimately unsuccessful villain collaboration.
It would be fun to push one of Norman’s death arcs a number of years after the warehouse. And after Norman passed Otto worked to remove the goblin symbiote sample from Norman. Keeping the goblin alive in a Petri dish while keeping Norman in a morgue. Otto gives the goblin serum to Harry in a closed container that harry ofc eventually opens. The goblin serum was bread to be synced and form a bond with Norman’s dna, and to the goblin sees Harry as just Norman with a different body so bonds to him. This. Is a really fun horror idea bc it has
1. Harry learning he’s a glorified clone 2. Goblin symbiote not realizing she’s in a different body and her old host is dead 3. Otto fucking Horrified to see goblin alive again in what is essentially Norman’s younger body.
From the goblins perspective it’s more like a “I don’t know what I’ve been separated from my host for the past three months. Here he is! Oh Norman’s body is a little different, and I can’t quite hear his thoughts as clearly but I can still take control! Ok back to the warehouse!” Huh I feel different on the glider and I woke up in a strange house but that’s not too weird for Norman. Hey Otto! Why do you look like you’ve seen a ghost?” And I’m thinking we do have Norman eventually be resurrected via some comic book bs and has to meet with Harry/goblin and like be honest with his son for the first time. Uh Norman is able to get back all of the goblin serum from Harry’s body and uh they’re all in therapy
Otto Octavius: Ends of the Earth Adaptation - Otto having to consider her legacy and what she really wants out of villainy as her body is deteriorating is really fascinating, and her orchestrating this apocalyptic level event which divides the world before her passing ties in really nicely to my own Otto’s themes of what is the responsible uses of science and should we trust our governments to make those calls. Further the trans and queer body aspect plays beautifully with this deteriorating ability narrative present in the canonical arc. Otto is living with the consequences of her muse as the human body she warred with most of her life is kept in a robotic shell, and her intellect becomes completely externalized above her regular body characteristics.
This is physically tied to some ozone degradation device she's having the world governments bid for her to turn off. Shifting climate catastrophes to occur in western counties that release the most greenhouse gasses and pollutants. The final part of her plan is to allow her body to pass as she takes over Peters body. Believing that she can finalize social change and be happy with herself if she was just in the body of a man.
Superior Arc Adaptation - The way the superior arc would play out would be like a “I can do Parker’s life better. My potential in the body of someone assumed to be a cis het white man?” Because Peter is a trans man who got a lot of support growing up but never got to all his transition goals bc of money and time and super hero things. I love this ridiculous idea of Otto becoming disgruntled after realizing filling Peter’s wishes, although they give her a chance to brag, aren’t really fulfilling for her. She gets to live as a man with no pain for four months. And in that time she somehow gets Peter a PhD, bottom surgery, and a new girlfriend. Peter is seeing his life lead by Otto while also exploring Otto’s mind. It’s a unique horror for Peter too. It is through some clone and mind link bs that Otto gets back to her original body but I think it’s a lot more like her girlfriends working to bring her back as opposed to Jackal like in the comics
Whole Group - ASM Annual #1 - pretty much a beat for beat of this but they manage to escape by the end - but i need to work on this.
Hunted Arc - Going off that one Star Trek tng episode the most toys but with like a very conservative Russian lady with a machismo complex that’s morphed into just Keeping people as a form of domination. It's a bad situation for essentially all the sinister sapphics except Quinn. But god imagine if Quinn needed to save the day and is panicking over if their special effects can save their girlfriends?
Lady kraven, in a way much worse than her father, is Fascinated in the sexuality of the sinister sapphics as a polycule. It goes against everything she’s learned about gender and biological essentialism and she wants it and she wants to control it. the transsexual identities of some of the members of the polycule super fascinate her and lady Kraven designs their exhibits to reflect this. Pulling just a touch of inspo from 120 days of sodom but just like one woman and her human zoo which might be worse? I could go real fucked up with this and honestly? The hunted arc was written in the mid 2010’s and was needlessly cruel and gross so why not lean into it in a queer horror way ?
Meanwhile the rest of the team is trapped in an insane labyrinthian fake garden and ‘habitats’. Mislead and kept separate from each other as lady Kraven questions each of them and like very uniquely pins them and sedates higher reasoning. I’m thinking Angie with a falconry hood on and bound up, Alexsei with a horn filed down and replaced, goblin forced to front instead of Norman, electro kept in a manic state with her most sensitive parts hooked up to power, keeping flint as a fraction of his sand mass in a small snow globe. Otto is kept in a warm shallow sea type environment, her arms are reprogrammed with octopus facts and have more control of her body and she’s less sure of her personhood. Otto is mostly moving and walking and grabbing things with her actuators, invested in the octopus life cycle and believing that she is a robotic octopus and one of her actuators is the male appendage as she looks for a suitable mate.
it would essentially be playing with these themes of who decides what to do with a trans queer body, and letting a conservative woman do so leads to monstrous consequences.
