building project update:
in a perfect world, i would have posted some construction pictures and maybe even a video of the guitar i'm building right now. while i was finally able to complete the two cherries XY touch-screen midi controller installation per the (poor) directions... the screen ultimately did not work. Overall, the quality of the pieces in the kit were very flimsy and difficult to work with (an actual luthier told me he had no idea how to help.) I will be continuing this project on a different guitar body with the AmpTone Lab controller once i figure out how to make online purchases in Euros here in the States.
Has anyone out there worked with either kit before? I'm curious to hear what other people have to say about the AmpTone kit.
