So uh I'm gonna address some problems I have with it first so then I can end on a bright note. (Haha get it? Note? Like music note? I think im funny--)
WHY DIDN'T HE BREAK OUT OF THE CAGE RRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG???? THE FREAKING METAPHOR/SYMBOLISM BEHIND THAT WAS SO GOOD IN THE BOOKS AND THEY JUST TORE IT AWAY!!! HE WAS FREED BOTH LITERALLY AND METAPHORICALLY?!!!???? AND THE SONG WAS ONE OF THE REASONS HE WAS **ABLE TO** IN THE FIRST PLACE SO JUST. DHDHDHDHHSHSHHURUUE8W9AOKAI. ALSO THE PARALLEL OF HIM-BREAKING-OUT-IN-THROG-WHEN-HE-SANG + BREAKING-OUT-IN-THE-PHOOBS-BUT-THIS-TIME-HE-WOULD-SAVE-THE-KING WAS SO BEAUTIFUL IN THE BOOK AND THEY JUST TOOK THAT AWAY 😭😭😭😭😭 WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
THE STUPID BIRD. HE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE FLIPPIN BIRD THERE. IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE CONSISTENT WITH OTHER TRANSFORMATIONS!!!!! THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT!!!!!!!! NFNSJSJSJDJDJIDAOAKAKMFJUDUSJSJSJDJDJFHFN!!! NFJDJJDJJIIIKKKKKKMNH
Also is it just me or, before he started singing (btw i started sobbing at that, henry did such a good job 😭), those Fangs (two greens and a grey i believe) should NOT have been able to restrain him so easily. Like yes it makes a point about how much of a difference the song made and I can appriciate that. However this is Artham Wingfeather, even pre-transformation, and a few Fangs shouldn't subdue him like that so easily. It was different in the book because he was yknow, still in the cage (see previous point). Anyway.
But other than that I think it was WONDROUS.
THE STONE TURNING YELLOW??? HELP ME----
HIS *EXPRESSIONS* OMG 😭😭😭😭 I'M NOT OKAY.
WHEN THE FANGS ARE DRAGGING HIM AND HE'S JUST SOFTLY WHIMPERING JSHDHDJSJSJDHDUDISKSKZSL
AT THE BEGINNING WHEN HE'S REPEATING "ITS ALMOST OVER" TO HIMSELF OVER AND OVER AGAIN *screams*
HIM FLYING JAHSHDHDHDHDHSUAIAMAMIDUVHRUEISJSN

THE OTHER KIDS' EXPRESSIONS OF AWE AND ADMIRATION WHEN THEY SEE HIM JDJDJDHDJDJIP P OJSJDUSUSJSJDHCUAAAAAA
AJSHSHHHHHHHAHAAAAAAAAAAA
Something I thought was interesting and I might have deeper thoughts about later but as of right now I just found it fascinating. Artham seems to sing much longer than Kal, Corvey, Derver, etc did. (Again help meeeee, Henry's voice ahhhhhhhh 😭)
So I liked it but I did have a few problems with it but what can I say, I'm very picky when it comes to Artham.
Just a stupid idea that wouldn't leave me alone.
Local cryptid tries to repair last remains of their species and sings to pass the time, natives not sure what to make of that.
