Featured is a poster issued by AMC Press in 1973 to promote to academic institutions and libraries their comic strips and comic books on microfilm. The poster has several characters from those comic strips and books such as Popeye, Little Orphan Annie, Tarzan, Felix the Cat and Marvel superheroes including Captain America, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, Sub-Mariner, Cyclops, and more. On the verso is a printed letter from Stan Lee about the importance of comic books as well as a list of titles and prices. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as slight edge and fold wear, light creases, or unobtrusive stains. There are extra horizontal folds.
