Return of the Distant Goddess (1)
My newly simplified shrine. In the centre I have Ra I’m worried conference with Anhur-Shu and Thoth of Pnubs - where could his beloved Eye have gone!
Then on the left hand side of the Shrine we have the Distant Goddess, played by Hathor, Tefnut and Sekhmet.
Next is Khnum, who is acting as the god of the cateracts. He is the formal boarder between Egypt and Nubia.
Then comes Amun, representing the Grand Temple of Karnak. But he also wears the ram-headed pendent, showing his connected to Gebel Barkel.
Then is three blue pyramids, representing... the great pyramids, because I’m so creative!
The left hand side of the shrine is actually pointing towards the West, but according to the river outside my bedroom window, that is the direction which is upstream. So I thought it was appropriate to place the upstream land of ‘Nubia’ there.
Egyptian gods 51/? Amum, amunet, anhur (Thoth because otherwise it would be a mess)
