As per Charisse's request- a bunch of anime questions answered. 2. Has an anime ever made you cry? Only always? I'm a natural sobber, it's a thing I do, and there have been SO MANY series that have made me cry, it's not even normal. Most memorable is probably Aria the Animation; the amount of times that series has made me cry with it's sheer beauty should be illegal. 5. List your top 5 anime's. Shit. Umn. 1. Aria the Natural/Animation/Origination 2. Paradise Kiss 3. Gokudou-kun Manyuuki 4. Gundam Wing 5. Toradora 6. List your top 5 anime OST's. 1. Aria series OST (it's GLORIOUS okay I don't care what you say it's the best) 2. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles OST (I've not even seen the series yet but the ost is epic) 3. Anything by Yoko Kanno? (Wolf's Rain OST for example) 4. Card Captor Sakura (I'm a sucker for nostalgia) 5. Air Gear OST 8. Who is your favourite anime character? I get the choose only ONE?! Shit. Umn. Yotsuba? Aika S. Slice of life is my favourite genre, so I basically devour any and everything in that genre, especially when it's both josei and slice of life. The Aria series, clearly, but also (and I don't know if it's an anime or only a manga) Kimi wa Pet, Bartender, Kare Kano and Nana. 22. You get to have a harem of [6] anime characters of your choice, who do you choose? Riko Onizuka, Trowa Barton, Nana Osaki, Makoto Tachibana, Ren Tsuruga, Shinichi Chiaki. 26. You get 1 anime character as your waifu/husbando in real life. Who do you choose? ...oh shit. That's a really difficult one... but my baby has always been Trowa Barton and I'm nothing if not loyal, so. Trowa it is. 36. In your opinion, what makes a good anime? The ones that stay with you, even months or years after finishing the final episode. The ones that taught you something, that learnt you something to help get you through life. That make you light up when you hear/see something that reminds you of it. 39. Is there an anime you wish was more popular? The Aria series, for sure. Nodame Cantabile, also. And then Gokudou-kun Manyuuki because it's utterly ridiculous but hilarious and just hugely fun to watch, and I don't think a lot of people know it. Which is a shame. Because Gokudo might actually be my favourite anti-hero ever.
