magical being! can you share a little about how you create those spectacular amvs? which software/app you use, how long it takes, and also the sparkle effect i must know that one 😍💖 ily

software/app: i have a macbook so i just use imovie/quick time to edit/time the actual video together
time: honestly it depends on the song/the actual content of the amv itself/how busy i am. Like American Pie took me around 3 months, because i worked on a majority of it during midterms, i ended up having to rewatch the entire show, it was my first amv ever and yk over 8 minutes long asfhakfhd. But like when i made the i want to break free amv i ended up scrapping everything i had and remade it in like 3 days(but i didnt sleep, i dont really ever so if i have one i really wanna make i'll just work on it from midnight until literally 8am asfhakdhs) and like Vienna was a few weeks. It really just depends on how clear your vision of the final product is, and also how well you remember the show itself adhfjahdhs. For me the most time consuming part is trying to find which shots come from which episode, or what the hell i labeled a clip i already have as asdfhakfhahd
effects: ive been using an app called Prequel for pretty much all of the actual effects, like the sparkles, the "vcr" for the fancam, or light leaks. It's a phone app, and im sure theres some PC apps that do the same thing, but i really like the prequel effects/filters
