Amy Elkins is a photographer who explores masculinity in depth through her work. I used these images as inspiration for my photoshoot, however my photos are a lot more bold (bright makeup, eccentric poses) whereas Elkins takes a more natural approach to the subject. In future photoshoots, I would like to experiment with creating images in a similar style as I feel her photos display sensitivity and vulnerability in men, which is generally seen as a non-masculine quality. I like how these photos are not masculine or feminine, and suggest you do not need to fit into a category.
