Bc I finally put my feelings about rookie blue rn into words: I only watched the first episode of the new season because I'd rather see mcnally happy or kicking ass at work instead of her only plot line being re: sam's baby. I love rookie blue and have watched it forever but it feels like the writers are avoiding going for deeper, more meaningful stories
I hear you. I'm ready for a happy and smiling Andy too. She's been so good at her job. She's kicking major ass. She's been brilliant this season. As for her story, I think this story is more her's than it is Sam's or Marlo's. She's been the principle player in it. It's her POV we've the most of. It's her reactions we've seen. While it's pretty shitty, this IS her story. She's also involved in other things. Last episode she was put into the Juliet mystery. Andy is the main character. Number 1. She's always going to have a variety of stories revolving around her.
