I think the issue is with the comparison. What Waverly did was very brief, something she recognises as a mistake in the spur of the moment and immediately regrets it. Maggie in SG by comparison, seems to have done a much more intentional, and damaging thing by fully cheating on her gf and not caring as much as she should have. The two situations are so different that i think it's not altogether fair to compare them just because they both include wlw.

well that’s a whole other discourse that i don’t really feel like getting into. thoughts on whether the cheating was justifiable aside, i was just talking about the pattern of cheating plot lines existing at all. 

also not quite sure what you mean by “fully cheating”, are you saying waverly kissing another girl wasn’t cheating??
