you on an ipad? ive been finding that tumblr on my apple device is the worst lately. takes forever to load and often just crashes completely.
Nope, I’m on the desktop computer (Windows 7). Tried both: Firefox and Chrome. On both browsers it’s the same. Just checked the app on my phone (Android): Same. Haven’t had any problems in the last days. Tumblr seems to be terribly slow today. At least here.

Did I read the story about Yousuf correctly? He "unlatched a door" so 60-70 people could escape. I don't get it. What was stopping the door from being unlatched by any of the other 60-70 people? The story is really unclear.
You did, indeed, read the story correctly. The article said that people were too scared to even move. Maybe they were stunned? Sometimes when you’re scared, your body sort of shuts down and you go stock-still. Honestly, I don’t think I would have dared to unlatch the door if there was an active shooter. It makes you a target. But, reacting on instinct, he told people to move and unlatched the door to get people out. He had marine training, so he was probably mentally prepared to deal with high-stress situations like that.
The article is a little unclear, but regardless, he unlatched the door that everyone else was merely standing around and got a lot of people out.

Ohhh, thank you so much! As much as I love Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, at least), I wouldn’t classify her as being part of classic rock. :/ But I’ll add Tracy and Edie. I actually edited the list and added quite a few more women, but I know I’m still forgetting/missing some.
