Calling all people who like a competition that helps people

The Intown Food Pantry serves 100 families every Saturday of the year at Druid Hills United Methodist Church. Each year, guests make over 4,500 visits to the Pantry, receiving over 53,000 lbs of food, enough for 44, 000 meals.

We are making the effort to collect Food and Grocery bags to add needed food for the homeless and emergency needs of local families.

This year AnachroCon is Running the 1st Annual Programming Food Drive! Every programing track will be collecting food donations to earn bragging rights on Who Loves Their Programming Track! Winning Track gets a Trophy and Bragging rights until 2017!

So support the Intown Food Pantry and SUPPORT your programming track!

Items that are needed include:

plastic grocery bags

Plastic zip-loc type bags, small and medium sized

Condiments (Ketchup, Mustard, Mayonnaise)- Packets & small jars/bottles

Jelly Packets & jars

Spam

Macaroni and Cheese

Vienna Sausage

Tuna/Chicken/Salmon

Rice

Beans

Shelf Stable Milk

Canned Chili/Beef Stew

Canned meals (like Chef Boyardee)

Juice Boxes and 64 Oz Bottles

Peanut Butter

Tea Bags

Coffee Packets

SOUP

Do not worry, for those unable to bring the above supplies we are in need of grocery bags and ziplock bags, every little thing helps!
