                 wesley powell, twenty-six, med resident

the second child of a politician and a trophy wife / grew up in a strict household looking to maintain a picture perfect image / incredibly ambitious and highly strung / incredibly competitive and unafraid of stepping on toes to get what he wants / lived without having to worry about finances but likes to pretend he had a ‘tough upbringing’ / absolutely loves his mom / often very much torn between his heart and his head (his head often winning out in the end) / would like to go overseas and help third world countries once he’s a full fledged doctor / but would also like to audition to be the next bachelor / confident and outgoing / definitely an extrovert and thrives off human connections / extremely into keeping himself fit and spends many hours in the gym / will do a half marathon on a whim just because he can / definitely a show-off / the type of guy you should take to your parents to shut them up / probably loves himself more than anyone / very concerned about how others perceive him.

looking for / one older and one younger sibling that don’t blink an eye when it comes to which spoon to use when and what glass is for what, other medical residents that he works with and laments about long hours with, two roommates slash his best mates, maybe someone he’s currently started seeing and they’re still in the honeymoon phase (soon to be wrecked by his ex)???

                                                   the powell’s

if you’ve been in beaufort long enough, chances are, you’ve seen bill powell’s face on a billboard or on tv around town. he’s a local council man and has been for many years, a retired judge who thought he could offer more to the community as a politician. he and his wife yvonne, a hobby interior designer, live in a hamptons-inspired home affectionally named the powell estate. it’s set on two acreage of land, complete with stables and distillery - bill’s very own passion and love. while yvonne has roots in denver, bill is beaufort born and bred which also happens to be his tagline for his political campaigns. bill and yvonne ensured that their three children had everything they could possibly need to succeed  to the public, they are perfect - not a single hair out of place in any of their photos or outings. they expected their children to excel academically, in co-curricular activities and in social settings. and while to the outside world they maintained their picture perfect image, the siblings were able to be themselves around one another. they’re close, supportive and proud of each other’s achievements. and though it’s never easy living up to their parent’s expectations, it’s much better that they tackle it as a trio than alone.
