Virgil probably knows this, so Virgil usually positions himself next to Janus' scaled side so that nobody touches Janus when he's not expecting it. As for the touch starvation, Patton's happy to help! Just with handholding at first, but then small touches and forehead kisses and hair brushing and Janus /isn't/ blushing (he definitely is).

(anamoceit anon, i'm going to come up with a better name for myself eventually) I love Remus teasing Janus about his crushes (when he isn't the crush) and anamoceit is no exception. Remus finds confetti in Janus' hair from the time he was helping Patton with something in his room and Remus keeps bringing it up for a week. Virgil's angrily getting in Jan's personal space and Janus nearly forgets how to breathe and Remus almost dies of laughter.

(anamoceit anon, also you don't have to answer these all at once unless I number it! That's why I'm spacing them out) So! Emo music. When Virgil and Janus were best friends, Virgil sent him playlists/cds of it all the time. Janus complained and then listened to them all repeatedly. Patton listened to it a lot on his own post-AA because he wanted Virgil to talk about the things he loves. Both of them know more about MCR, paramore, etc. than anyone would initially assume. (1/2)

(2/2) However, what this means is, while both of them know the music, it's not their usual style and they weren't invested enough to look up the lyrics. Neither really told Virgil until one afternoon Patton and Janus were having a baking date and Patton put fall out boy on, and ten minutes later Virgil walked in on them having a heated argument about the lyrics to "Sugar we're goin down" (they were both wrong) (Virgil would've been a blushing mess if he wasn't so busy laughing)

(Anamoceit again, sorry) (Also angst kind of) I hc that all of them (but especially Patton) are trying as much as they can to stop bottling up their emotions, and I hc Virgil as a sympathetic crier, but what this means is that sometimes, one of them needs a good cry. And so often they'll go to someone's room and just cry for a little while holding each other, and then have a cuddlepile with all the stuffed animals available, and emotions feel a bit better or at least more manageable.

you could've literally stopped at "virgil is a sympathetic crier" like say THAT ANON SAY THAT

I wish I could be there for him too."

Again, sorry for the confusion, and to make it up, here's a small one: It's getting chilly outside, which means it's medically necessary to make Janus cocoa and wrap him in blankets until he cannot move! Janus: "I'm not actually cold-blooded" Virgil: "Just be quiet and accept the cuddles".
