I Woke Up Like This: Anapparatus - “Waking Up to Airbags”
I remember stumbling across an actual music video for this song on YouTube, but it was a fan video, I believe, not commissioned by the band. I found it strange as it was a song by Anapparatus I had not heard before and I was pretty on top of my shit back then when it came to this band. When I eventually tracked an mp3 version of it down, it was an unreleased EP with a handful of, as of yet, unnamed songs. Luckily, with all my computer troubles over the last decade plus (damn you, streaming TV), I managed to hold onto all of these files. I haven’t the slightest idea how this song ended up stuck in my head. I haven’t listened to it in years. Anapparatus is fucking dope, though, and you should listen to them.
