Sarah had already ran into her “uncle Sam” except it wasn’t her uncle. She shortly discovered she was in a parallel universe of some sort. She knew a lot of Supernatural things existed. Dad told her about all that since he used to hunt before settling down with mom. Uncle Sam was on his way to being a lawyer at the time. So the Winchesters became pretty normal after Dean learned Sarah was his kid. And it stayed that way until Dad sold his soul to save mom. Sarah had no idea the Winchesters fate or where would end up. But she’d learn from these future counterparts she is bound to meet. She was about to meet one right now. “Have you seen Dean Winchester?” she asked a man. Not realizing this man was her father’s best friend. Well not yet anyways. But would be. She wanted to meet her father in this world and see if she existed here. Or how his life turned out.
