It was very cold outside. Anath was looking up to the night sky with his hands inside the pockets of his coat, feeling the snow slowly falling on his face. It was freezing actually, but the cold was nice for him to let his mind wonder off from everything that he is always thinking about.
His cheeks and nose were bright red already, and he was sure maybe his ears were too. He could see his breathing on a faint white cloud that came out of his mouth, and he found himself doing so just for the fun of it.
Suddenly something warm caugh him by the neck. Warm and fluffy and Anath blinked away from his trance when he recognized the purple scarf anywhere. He looked back to see a very warm smile on Cinaed's lips.
"You're going to catch a cold like this, Key."
His voice was just as soft as the fabric of the scarf around his neck, which brought a faint smile to Anath's lips.
"Doctors don't get colds, mate." He adjusted the scarf to not be covering his mouth, and just then he realized he forgot his gloves back in the clinic. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, you took forever to come back inside, so I got worried." Cinaed took a step closer, maybe slightly too close, and he saw as the doctor's expression shifted to a very nervous one. He chuckled. "Come on, let's go back inside. I think we have enough ingredients to make some hot chocolate."
Cinaed hummed happily the suggestion, and his smile got even warmer when the doctor nodded, looking away and hiding his mouth behind the scarf again. It was cute how easily flustered Anath could get.
But before he could turn around to keep going, he felt a very cold touch on his own hand. Cinaed looked down and saw that Anath had timidly reached out to hold his hand. The red haired man looked back to the doctor in surprise, and he was met with a deep red on Anath's cheeks.
"T- This is just-- This is just an experiment, okay?!" Anath said with a frown, still not looking to Cinaed, his face becoming amazingly more red. "Don't- Don't go getting wrong ideas-- Besides-- It's cold- So-- At least you won't get cold--"
Cinaed chuckled as he felt his own cheeks getting warm. "Okaay~" He however stepped closer to Anath, almost clinging to his arm. "Like this is more warm, don't you think?"
Anath kept quiet, but he didn't tried to push away. They then went back inside the clinic without a word. Cinaed looked up to the sky for a moment, and even if the snow could be beautiful, nothing would be more beautiful than the man that he is in love with.
