Oh yeah its time
Anatha is just confused. She isn’t sure what to think. She doesn’t even know how to shift at will herself, much less how to teach Zherim to do it! So she just holds the small Vhessen up. just staring at him as he grumbles in irritation. Goes through all that, gets a beast form.. and still tiny!
Medusa Devotion
Does anyone know of any devotional acts for Medusa (Anatha)?? I would assume that loving your natural beauty, taking care of your hair/having long beautiful hair, and being kind to snakes would be acceptable, but I want to know if there are any legitimate devotional acts. Trying to research online keeps turning up deadends and moreso follows her Greek mythology origins and I want to find info on the Libyan ways of worshipping her and whatnot.
((NOTE that this post uses Vaesa’s old design! See details here as well as her new design and backstory! https://the-world-of-enterra.tumblr.com/post/638727905457864704/kavuta-and-vaesa-have-gotten-a-new-design-and-a https://the-world-of-enterra.tumblr.com/post/638835154912264192/vaesas-old-design-has-been-recycled-because-i )) Several more days pass, and Zherim’s condition doesn’t seem to be improving. Finally, Anatha decides to take him to Vaesa. She was afraid of the moth, but also recognized that the moth had helped her. Since that glowing touch, she’d been thinking more clearly. Memories were starting to come back. Her head didn’t hurt anymore. While she wasn’t fully healed, it was easily enough to recognize that the moth had helped. If the moth had helped her, perhaps she could help Zherim as well. The small Vhessen’s fever is very high, and he’s barely lifting his head. Vaesa has no idea what is going on, and her natural healing ability doesn’t seem to be doing much. Instead, she gives him something to lower the fever, and offers to help keep an eye on the nymphs while he is recovering. Anatha is unsure, at first, but she can tell the moth means no harm. After a few days, the fever finally goes down. Zherim seems to be regaining his energy, but... he’s started complaining about something else. An odd burning in his chest, a strange feeling he can’t place. It’s not painful, but it is strange all the same. Some of the things Vaesa tries to give him to help him recover don’t quite seem to be as effective. His loss of appetite and illness is replaced by something quite different. He’s gone from so sick he could barely eat, to insatiably hungry. Anatha isn’t sure what to think, and she tells Vaesa that he’s eating around twice as much as he did before he got sick. With this increased appetite comes increased energy. Zherim seems.. almost wild?
Goddess Medusa ruled over the regenerative mysteries of sex and death, and protected these magical rites from being discovered by the uninitiated.
MEDUSA IS A TRIPLE GODDESS Y’ALL-- ALONG WITH METIS AND ATHENA THEY ARE ANATHA. I KNEW there was a reason I am so obsessed with her and have been trying to figure out how to worship her
