After spending a bit of time at the hot springs, Vherra gets up to grab a towel, and Kiolos catches himself staring a bit. He is definitely having some new feelings, but he still isn't quite sure what these feelings are, but he can't help but admire the toned, powerful form of the tall bug he's fallen for.

Working on some updates on Aloka and Kiolos to make 'em more original, but still recognizable as themselves (So more original, but still close to the designs we know and love) And I think I love what I came up with! Vhessen are getting some anatomy updates too! Yes - I gave Vhessen floof! Because... it's floof. You can't go wrong with floof! Aloka's fur is mussy, floofy and soft while Kiolos's fur is long and silken, quite sleek.

Kiolos and Vherra may have confessed their feelings for eachother... but Kiolos is still a bit self conscious and unsure. He wants to impress Vherra. Luce is happy to help! She can tell Vherra likes Kiolos, without him needing to get all prettied up, but she is not going to pass up the opportunity to give the tall vhessen a makeover! She has to stand on something to reach the vhessen... he's very tall.

Kiolos Reference! I decided that Vhessen have small, short, soft manes, so he has a little fur down his neck and back. Not nearly as extensive as a Warbred’s mane, but still a little fuzz. Some Vhessen have more fuzz than others. Shown back and front... but also with and without his prosthetic... and with and without his soft cloak.

Aloka with a new design! They also have their wings spread out, showing how Vhessen wings work! They have two support structures. They can flare out, and the support structures are flexible, but rigid enough to hold the weight of the wing up. Vhessen wings are not capable of flight or gliding, though can slow their fall a bit. They are more meant for display. Aloka's can turn deep, shadowy black with eery glowing white eyespots as a threat display, something they do when trying to ward of threats. Aloka is a complete pacifist, after realizing how many innocents they killed while they were under the influence of Vaesa's terrible curse.

Kiolos with a new design and a new ref! He gotten an updated horn shape, but also... a magestic mane, and Vhessen wings have changed in their functionality! He only has one wing, though. Originally the wing he had was on the side with the scar, but that didn't make sense, so I moved which side his missing wing is on. Vhessen wings are incapable of flight. They can't even really glide well, though the wings can catch air and slow their fall a bit. The wings are mainly for display purposes.

So. I decided Vhessen have tails. xD Aloka and Kiolos’ refs have been updated to display the tails now! Warbred, also, have tails! You can see the update on Vherra and Erevoss’ ref. It’s like a tendril tail, used for expression and communication and defense. They can whip with their tail and deal small amounts of Void damage. The idea has been in my head for a while... and *I went for it* xD
