probably my ap euro & ap us teacher, mr ortmann
he was this short, paunchy, balding, vaguely hamster-looking man and he dressed up in historical costumes often and was really good at setting up activities where we could participate and like… make history feel ~alive~
his classes were really really hard and i definitely would not be capable of doing them now tbh but i was in much better shape academically in high school so they were just fun hard work instead of death
