So velma runs over anchorlady’s husband, says her fiancé (corny Collins) is dead, inserts herself into anchorlady’s life, anchorlady’s finds out corny Collins is very much alive, Velma eventually confesses that she killed anchorlady’s husband, corny Collins definitely was in the car and had a lot to do with it, corny Collins is looking for Velma bc she turned him in for money laundering and drained their joint bank account, he finds anchorlady’s instead and tells her that she sucks so much that her husband jumped in front of his car (not true) so anchorlady kills corny Collins, she calls Velma so they can hide the body, but she tells Velma it was self defense (it was not ?), Velma blames herself for everything that has happened and wants to turn herself in for killing both the husband and corny Collins but anchorlady doesn’t want her to do that and tells Velma that it was not self defense when she killed corny collins, they both have a breakdown, when Velma is asleep anchorlady leaves to turn herself in to the lady cop who lives with her ex girlfriend who happens to be more recently velmas ex girlfriend, they try to find where corny Collins is buried but anchorlady cannot remember, Velma wakes up to find anchorlady gone and that she is now the legal guardian of anchorlady’s kids, -back to anchorlady now- lady cop ex lets anchorlady go out of the goodness of her heart after they can’t find corny Collins body and then as soon as things are looking up for anchorlady and Velma corny Collins twin crashes into their new car and flees the scene??
