I made two new characters for a future Across the Veil story I am planning (Book 1 is just about done and I am wrapping up some edits!) Meet Teus (an Ancient Fae who is also Moira's ancestor), and Thalo (another Faerest who will be introduced later). Just a little backstory, or what I have so far, for these two! Teus -An Ancient Fae who has been around for ages. He controls a large territory in Avalon (the magical home world on the other side of the Veil). Ancient Fae were created by the Angels to act as guardians for the precious mortal races, but they created a rebellion as they sought their freedom and a home of their own. Fun trivia: His name is connected with the name "Proteus" who was an ancient Greek figure of prophecies! Thalo -Abandoned in a patch of flowers as a baby and found by a guild of thieves, Thalo is a mage within Teus' territory who doubles as a thief when the whim arises. His appearance is meant to be a blend of four o'clock flowers (the flowers he was found in) and a general hooded snake (related to the guildmaster who raised him who will be a Drake himself).
