“Legend of Spyro: Eternal Night may have a very small amount of levels, but the few it has are quite long. This is a good example of that. You will explore different parts of this magical forest. Honestly, I don’t mind it at all. This is such a beautiful place. Also, here you get your ice powers, once again. Ice breath is so OP. You can freeze most enemies with one blast, which makes the whole game so much easier, specially because 90% of it is you beating the shit out of the same enemies over and over again.”

Day 23 - Ancient

I think nature is mad at us humans. We think we have surpassed it, as thus, we condemn it. We murder it for the sake of another skyscraper or a new train track to no where. Nature though has is way of bringing about hubris. The Forest of Faces is one of those ways. In the forest, humans freeze up. They stand in place until their feet split open into the ground. Their bodies shrivel up and their face contorts in pain and anguish… It’s the only part of them that stands out under the pulp and bark.

This is pure tranquility.  If you ever get a chance, camping in Olympic National Park is amazing.  Old growth Western Hemlocks and fairly reclusive due to its location 3 hours west of Seattle next to Juan De Fuca Strait. Sol Duc River and campground are great places to catch these kind of views.
