I’ve been contemplating doing a series on Celtic mythology for awhile. This is a quickly knocked out painting I did a while back representing the Morrigan. Within life's stream we see and experience the ebb and flow of our karma and that of others. The rich tapestry of encounters remind us of her complexity. Up in the mountains where the wild wind blows cascading droplets of rain adorn are heads, standing whispering in majestic silence a circle of stones beckons us hither. Dressed in wisdom and singing sweetly back in time I take you all To seasons passing merriment and mirth ritualistic dancing apon holy earth. Deep beneath this sacred mountain Manifesting spirits wait to see Being called when healing powers Are needed to cure and be. Today I spent a wonderful time with my two youngest kids and their mother at St Fagans Welsh history open air museum about 15mins drive from Cardiff city centre. It's an amazing collection of old Welsh buildings disassembled and reconstructed brick by brick. Like old shops houses working mens clubs and much more. This is a picture of a reconstructed Iron Age round house.
