I know I need to do more fanart and stuff, but I’ve been hyperfixating on The Magnus Archives recently. Then I started listening to one of my favorite books of all time on audiobook (The House in the Cerulean Sea books) and I thought:

“This kinda feels like If Jon and Martin lived. Martin being Arthur and Jon being Linus”

I have no Idea if there’s anyone out there in both fandoms but here’s that little bit of bittersweetness for you.

hey y'all little update

so my motivation has absolutely TANKED recently and idk what to do about it. just wanted to tell my dear trainers and avatars that legends: z-archivist is NOT ABANDONED!! i am still working on it i pinky promise, swear to arceus, cross my jmart heart. if anyone has tips for getting motivation back i will gladly accept them :) also just talking to me in general about l-zarchivist might get my motivation up a little so if anyone has any questions you can go to my asks :) words of encouragement are greatly appreciated <3 i think the issue is that my attention-craving mind thinks that it's not worth it to write l-zarchivist if only a few people read it which i know is incorrect and i'm working on it in therapy don't worry

In an au where jon played in the mechanisms and then worked for the archives, you think that in season 1 jon would still be in the band and martin goes to a concert cuz the mechs were “recommended by a friend” to him and then he sees his fucking grumpy hater boss on stage. And thats when he falls for him too.

I imagine in a world where Jon and Martin had time to develop their feelings on each other naturally, Jon would confess first but wouldn't look Martin in the eye not because he's shy but because he doesn't want to accidentally force the answer out of him.

Honestly it's such a huge missed opportunity for Martin to not say "That's not fair" before he kills Jon.
