Why are the figures that dominate the religions in modern-day white when the people they refer to in their teachings are black? The removal of the word black when talking on the origins of religion and its people is an evident trend similarly to how we see western society has black people now referring to themselves as BAME or POC. Blackness becomes diluted and ambiguous and therefore anything comes from black people can be claimed by a more superior race. It's also interesting that blackness is only spoken on when it relates to the white man's reasoning to dehumanise black people. Why is modern day perception of religions core foundation based on God’s distaste for the black body?
