first tests of painting on real papyrus. This is not a finished psinting, I was just trying out stuff. Reed pen, glass dip pen, fountain.pen, watercolors, acrylic pigment inks.. I like it. The colors stay very vibrant, they are not sucked into the "paper", it dries fast and doesn't wrinkle too much. Maybe I put a priming layer of white pigmrent with casein binder on one of of the next sheets. I think it could be used for fast abstract stuff. For that I think it might have advantages over modern paper. For more detailed painting with more layers the modern paper might be better. But painting on this material is fun. #papyrus #papyruspainting #abstractexperiments #abstractpainting #ancientmaterial https://www.instagram.com/p/CC2nKusn7kD/?igshid=1wu6h4p350dqm
