Sunset fatigue is real.
Let’s be honest: sunsets are probably the second most photographed subject on the planet—right after cats. We've seen so many of them across social media that it's hard not to feel a little... nauseated. I usually scroll right past them. Instagram? Swipe. Facebook? Next. They all start to blur into one endless stream of reds and oranges, like nature’s autoplay feature.
And yet.
Every time the sky starts to burn with color—when those deep reds and soft oranges light up the horizon—I stop. I reach for my phone. I take the photo.
Because sometimes, you just have to.
This was one of those moments. Piazza del Papa, Ancona, Italy. In the background, under that glowing sky, you can see the silhouette of San Domenico Church, built in the late 1700s.
Cliché? Maybe. Beautiful? Absolutely.
