Yeah that fucking "Who are you without the media you consume" post is so insane to me because pretty much all media is something personal to the person who wrote it. It's art. It's supposed to make you feel something. The Gone book series by Michael Grant CHANGED my brain chemistry when I read it in 8th grade. I still think about that book series once a week despite not reading it in over a decade. We are defined by our and other's experiences, inspiration is everywhere, media is just the way family stories and personal lessons can reach wider audiences. MEDIA IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU FEEL SOMETHING I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH "Who are you without media" BITCH WHO ARE YOU WITHOUT YOUR FELLOW PERSON!!!!
