Why don't we have real food anymore? Real bread, CHOCOLATE, and organic fruits and veggies. Why can't we get these things as the norm?

Went out for dinner, ordered a pizza that was half adult toppings and half pepperoni for the child. When our pizza arrived the adult half was perfect, no notes. The pepperoni half… the pepperoni half was two normal pieces and then a square piece from another pizza. Interesting times, interesting potential backstory.
The owner came out — unsolicited! — and looked at it for a moment. “I do not know how this happened, but I figured you wanted pizza now instead of a wait? Yeah? I appreciate you?”
He then handed us a loaf of bread and walked away.
