so I’ve been mulling over whether it’s necessary to tell my niblings that I’m getting top surgery. I truly don’t know, it’s not particularly relevant (I don’t think either of them spend any time staring at my chest) but it’s a fairly obvious change and I do kind of think the older of the two would be upset if we don’t tell him about such a big event in our lives

I don’t think they know many queer ppl, but I know gren’s cousin and her husband aren’t homophobic/transphobic. we’re gonna talk to them about it I’ve just been trying to figure out how I would even go about explaining it to a six year old. like what happens if he asks about my scars if we ever go swimming? idk man
