you know what WASNT mentioned in my lecture that discussed ADHD? Rejection sensitivity dysphoria n emotion regulation. I am. unsurprised. why?

one of my biggest issues with the DSM and the psychology community as a whole is the focus on outwards symptoms, that is, that inconvenience others (aside from like in anxiety n depression). Emotion regulation isn’t talked about a lot in autism or adhd or schizophrenia or any other disorder that causes difficulty with that stuff. The focus is always on how they are disruptive in a school and public setting, and on stopping that disruption.
