My inbox is always open!
I know I haven't gotten around to every chenford prompt sent in yet (I really don't know how go to go about some), but please feel free to send in more :)
As always I don't want to make promises I can't keep, but I always get excited over new asks and love writing something you ask for! 🥰
Or just dump ideas, theories, opinions, whatever- I would love to connect more with you! ❤️
"I think I missed the gun at the starting line."
I don’t think Luke Hemmings understands how powerful that lyric is, and maybe he didn't actually put any meaning into that lyric or maybe he did but, there is something so raw and true in a sense. As if "he" (Luke in question) didn't realize that events were happening with or without him, like nobody cared if he started first or ended last, life still went on. And I take it back on how I relate to it, there are days where I feel stuck to my seat- like my whole entire life was passing me by and the people I used to know were going on without me, as if I was in the backseat, trying to take control of the wheel but it just keeps getting further and further away—out of reach, almost. I guess what I'm saying is...nobody gives a shit if you're paying attention or not to the things going on around you— life, if you will, even if they're giving you a clear signal, (it could be as loud as a gun) at the end of the day- you gotta make it on your own, right?
It's so good to enjoy something with someone you love, even if you're enjoying it on your own. Reading their favorite comic or listening to their favorite podcasts. Learning what brings their mind joy and thinking of them the whole time, it's a good practice of intention and love I think.
