So far, I'm really loving film school. ICF is such a great experience. I'm learning so much, spending all day with my group is a walk in the park but better, and I'm falling in love with film all over again.
The thing is, though...After I graduate next month, they'll be helping me get work to get my foot in the door. We're talking internships and all that, unpaid at first, yeah, but that's how it is when everyone starts out. All of that is great, don't get me wrong. I just want to go see other parts of the world first. How can I be a writer or director if I don't know anything from exploring? I want to go to England and North Carolina and Oregon and Russia and Egypt and Canada and New York and Brazil and so many other places, but once I graduate, I can't take time off to do that because then I'm most likely going to miss my chance to get in.
