"No way," says Gale, standing up from the sofa and shaking his head in disbelief. The room falls silent, the stalemate broken only by the squeaking of wire hangers on the rack.
"Gale?" Kenny asks, looking confused, but Gale is too angry to listen.
"Kenny, no. I'm telling you, I know this guy," he says before turning back toward Bucky, who's still smirking at him, annoyingly handsome in a white shirt and brown leather jacket.
"Get out," Gale tells him, not quite shouting, but close. "I have no idea what you're trying to do, or how you knew that I'd be here, but I'm not interested, okay? So you can just turn around and walk out the way you came."
