Studio headcannon! About Strawberry Nightmare.
Abit earlier in his acting career, back when he was only just starting to become popular for his role in Dreamtale, Nightmare was aproched by a drink company, to help them promote a new line of protein shakes/milk shakes. Nightmare agreed.
During the process, someone came up with the idea of dressing Nightmare up as the character he was known for, but making him bright pink to match the drink. Nightmare was horrified, but he'd already signed the contract so he did it.
Killer thought it was hilarious and made sure to hang on to several of the posters of the advert, which he displays in his apartment for Night to see when he comes over.
To add to Nightmare's shame, strawberry Nightmare became a fan favourite online, and had a bunch of knock off merchandise (alot of which killer definitely bought) and fan fiction (which killer will happily read out loud to him on the regular). He trys to pretend it doesn't exist. But it always comes back to haunt him.
For most actors, their past shames might be staring in low budget or in adult films. For night, it's strawberry Nightmare.
