Mirage's pov of Ratchet finding him and then the rest of events happening really did sound like a nightmare, so i needed to draw it from the poor guy's perspective

Really curious to see how everything will turn out, and once more, fantastic au, love the designs and cryptidness of it all!

Look. In the rare, minuscule and almost none existent chance that knights of guinevara ends up being a meh and just ok show (I refuse to believe it be bad) we will hype it up to spite Disney. By the time the church bell strikes midnight with the full moon hanging low in the ink-black sky, bathing the graveyard in the sickly pale glow, you are buried deep inside your husband's grave. The piles of fresh earth tower around you, cutting you off from the world around. Your borrowed clothes, Leander's old shirt and trousers, are soaked through with damp dirt and sweat. Your palms are raw and bleeding, the tender skin, from all the cleaning, shredded by the shovel's rough wood.

"How are you doing?" Edith calls softly from several feet away. She keeps watch with Leander's horse at her side. The animal is restless. He paws the ground, and you can feel the nervous thud of his hoof vibrate through the soil.

"Almost," you grunt, driving the shovel deeper until the blade strikes wood with a dull thud.

"Can you open it?"

You let out a short, breathless sound. "Do I have any other choice?"

You force the shovel between the casket and its lid and throw your weight against the handle. The nails screech, the wood groans, and with a final heave, it shifts.

After finding out about the storybook for WH I have decided that I wish to do this one stupid thin'. Rewatch the first episode of the anime, "The Grimm Variations". It's Cinderella and HOLY CRAP.
