I've been on a cruise (the same ship as last time in 2015) and cruises aren't my thing at all. I really didn't want to go because I'm not feeling well mentally at the moment and there's a pile of university work to do, but it was my dad's 50th birthday, so I didn't have much of a choice but to come. And after actually waking up with a panic attack on the first day I prepared for the worst. I just wanted everything to be over as soon as possible. That was until I went to see the shows on board, because I remembered them to be amazing and I love music, singing and acting with all my heart. It was so, so great and professional, the costumes, the music, everything. There was a group of solists too and every single one was top notch. One of them, Jody Hinkley, stood out to me from the very beginning though and watching him and the rest perform/practise quickly became the light of my day. I could finally push aside all that weight in my head for a moment. As the last day came closer, I started feeling empty since this vacation turned out to be so much better than I originally thought. I'm usually not one to annoy people like that, but I just had to have a photo or something to take home with me. Please ignore how terrible I look, I was dying a little inside, but it was so worth it. (I literally sat there with happy tears, smiling like an idiot for hours) Jody, thank you again for coming and letting me take this photo, it might not be much, but it means a whole lot to me. You are so talented, your voice is simply incredible and you made everything so much brighter for me. I'm happy to have met a fellow chocolate addict and I hope I'll see you live again some time c: til then I'll just...support you from afar I guess uvu♥
