No matter how good each Knives Out movie is, I will ALWAYS love the format of an anthology series with a single continuous character. It’s literally the OG Sherlock Holmes format. I go apeshit everytime for it. It’s basically a serialized movie franchise.

Like it’s literally just so fun. And each Knives out film has 100% been fun, regardless of any other criticisms I may have for them.

there's something rly special about tartarus and his mc in the catch 22 universe (╥ᆺ╥;) i like how the first time sylus saw us, we're not a hunter or anything like that. we were just someone who needed help. not even in a damsel in distress kind of way. we were literally dirty and crawling on the ground and just desperate to live (｡>﹏<) but he still took us with him and made us stronger and we survived

Eretlout's eldest daughter (one of my Eretlout fankids)

Ellenlout is the protected little daughter of Snotlout and Eret (Especially Eret, he loves his little girl)

Ellen inherited the strong personalities of both her parents, so she's quite... annoying sometimes... like, really annoying

At first, Snotlout wasn't very excited about having a daughter, but that was because of his own fear of becoming a terrible father like Spitelout. When they found out about the pregnancy, Snotlout freaked out, afraid of being like his father. He didn't feel ready for it and was very insecure about Eret reacting badly to the news about having a baby. But Eret's reaction was one of pure joy. A family with the love of his life was everything he had ever dreamed of having. Eret's positive reaction was the last thing Snotlout expected.

Until Ellen's birth, Snotlout was still very afraid of becoming like Spitelout, but as soon as he saw his daughter's little smile, her smile recognizing him as family, his thoughts changed. He would be the best father in the world to his little girl, and she would be the happiest girl on Berk. He would give her the childhood he never had, filled with care, love, and protection.

Eret was truly overjoyed with the news of his daughter; he let all of Berk know that he and Snotlout would have a daughter (a loving husband, and an even more loving father) Eret did everything to show Snotlout that he is not Spitelout and that he will never be like him. Eret also has insecurities about raising Ellenlout; his past sometimes haunts him. He was also afraid of not being truly good, even though he had been forgiven by everyone, especially Snotlout. Sometimes Eret still wondered if he deserved to be forgiven for the things he had done, if his daughter would love him if she knew the things he had done before. But obviously, Snotlout also helped him with his insecurities. Of course, he wasn't as careful as it would have been if other riders had done it, but it was in Snotlout's way of saying that Eret would be an incredible father.

about her name, The idea came from Snotlout; the first option was Snotface, but Eret refused to let his daughter have that name. So that everyone would have something in common with his daughter's name, Eret asked to name her "daughter of Eret."

I need us to think long and hard about how that Dynamic Duo concept art came to be. It doesn't matter that that's early concept art and the designs have changed; it matters that somewhere, at some time, the team animating the movie thought those designs were acceptable. And I want us to think about why.

Why is Jason a redhead?! He was blonde in a continuity that is no longer relevant to modern comic books (no, I don't fucking care that Infinite Frontier basically made all continuities canon again; no one is referencing a continuity that hasn't been relevant since the early 80s in 2025) and a redhead for one (1) book that was supposed to be the end of the road for his character.

Why does he look older and have more square features?! We know that they're gonna be a similar age but Jason has always been the younger, smaller one.

Why has Jason inherited Damian's more edgy red/grey/black color scheme for hide Robin uniform?! I know DC is hell bent on rebooting Jaybin because they can't admit that they fucked up by letting a grown ass man kill off a 15 year old for shock value, but damn!! Jason was not a bad boy as Robin; he was poor. He wore the hot pants with *pride*. I know people these days turn up their nose at the sillier costume choices from the Golden and Silver Ages of comics, but there could've been a better way to differentiate Jason as Robin.

I'm not gonna call people who like these designs sheeple because, divorced from the Robin of it, they look cool. Its just not Jason. That's not my Jaybin. Why does Dick get to keep the essential parts of his character, but Jason is constantly being robbed of his?!

Yes, Dick's back story has been rebooted and updated over the years - the character has been around for 80 years - but these changes are always done with careful consideration to keep the core of who Dick is consistent. We get none of that with Jason. why does every time we turn around, Jason is being remade into a new character, divorced from the origin story we all know?!

These changes are not accidents. They didn't come out of nowhere.

I need us to think long and hard about why we're so okay with them warping a character we all supposedly like this way.
