1) What was the first thing you thought of for your current WIP (a character, a certain scene, a feeling, etc)?

It was one of the main characters, Lex Novak. I needed a character to express myself through after coming off of a 3 year abusive hiatus from anything creative. The first version of Lex was everything I wanted to be.

2) Have there been any moments while writing your WIP where you realize something that changes the story?

Absolutely. It happens all the time. Sometimes the story changes direction in a way that I didn’t expect or I end up writing something and an entirely new plot device pops up. It’s just so good. I literally just wrote something that created and fleshed out the plot in a way I didn’t expect or plan and it’s just so good.

3) Is it better to have a dog or a cat in your lap (or some other small animal)?

4) How to you keep track of plot points, world building details, etc.?

I mostly do it as bullet points/notes in one document so it’s easy for me to find. But the first time I do notes for my project, I do it as bullet points in a physical note book. There’s a lot of scratching out and writing over stuff and arrows, it’s wonderful.

5) How many story ideas do you currently have?

Just one story idea that spans across seasons and seasons lol. Maybe like 3-4 seasons who knows. Aside from that? Not really, thankfully.

6) What is, in your opinion, the best number of characters to have in a friendship gang?

I mean, 3 is the magic trope number right? My personal favorite is 5/6. I like a whole gang lol.

7) Are there any stories you wish you could’ve rewritten the ending yourself?

Too many, it hurts.

8) Do you like to snack while writing? If so, what do you snack on?

I love snacking, but I do not like snacking while writing. Every once in a while I might stop to pick up a French fry but that’s only because they’re just sitting there, you know? Not actually because I want them.

9) What is the absolute worst thing your OCs could receive as a gift?

Ugh idkkkkkkkk man. Lex would hate hair accessories. Melo would hate pretty much any type of jewelry. Kendra would hate make up. Gabriel would hate flowers (those allergies tho). Audrey would hate coloring books???? Because???? Why???? Ya girl is blind dummy???? Idk.

10) What is one thing that you could never, ever include in anything you write?

Oof. Idk. Oh oh. Graphic depictions of rape. Because go fuck yourself, you feel?

11) If your OCs could choose, what genre of story would they like to be the protagonist in?

Lex would want to be in a research paper, Melo would want to be in a love story, Kendra would want to be in a French noir film probs, Audrey would want to be in a comedy, and Gabriel would want to be in a thriller and that’s exactly where he ended up the asshole.
