what's a fic you wanna write but it feels too niche to commit to
Oh, hm. I want to write like, a sprawling epic crossover of FMA and specifically, Tenth Doctor & Rose Doctor Who.
I don’t think I have enough of a handle on the FMA universe to do it, and I also haven’t written for Doctor Who in like, years, so who knows if I’d even have an audience, but I think it would be fun! I started it once, a long time ago:
“Who the hell are you?” Ed demanded again, shaking the suit of armor’s hand off his arm, “leave it Al.”
The Doctor grinned, “I’m the Doctor,” he said, “could I get a look at that arm?” Ed recoiled like he’d been slapped, drawing the arm in question against his chest, “it’s just,” the Doctor rushed on, “I’m not from around here, and the only cybernetics I’ve been close to are nowhere near this level of sophistication, is it organically tied to your nerves? What powers it? Where do you keep the blade, does it slide out of a compartment?” The Doctor’s questions were interrupted by hearing his name called over the din. He turned and the grin turned into a full-fledged smile as Rose lifted an arm in greeting.
When he turned back around, the boys were gone.
